How this site is written and checked

01

The source hierarchy

  1. A photograph of the product's own label. The strongest source there is. On this product that photograph shows the front only.
  2. Other artwork supplied with the product, with its nature stated. A generated graphic is published as a generated graphic, every time it is used.
  3. The regulation. 21 CFR 101.36 for labelling, FTC's guidance for claims and for country-of-origin.
  4. Government health sources. NCCIH, NIH's Office of Dietary Supplements, and FDA's own notices and notices of GRAS.
  5. The written pack. Used for contact details and terms. On this product it names no ingredients at all.
  6. Nothing else. No study this desk did not open and read.

02

Why this site publishes provenance

Because on this product the difference between the label says and a marketing image says is the whole story, and a reader cannot see that difference from the finished page unless it is written on it.

Every other site this desk has built could open with a transcription. This one cannot, and pretending otherwise would have been easy, invisible and wrong.

03

Claims this site will never make

  • Any amount, for any of the three ingredients. None was declared anywhere in the pack.
  • A transcription of the Supplement Facts panel. No photograph of the back of the bottle was supplied, so there is nothing to transcribe.
  • Any price, for any pack. The written pack says the prices are the ones printed at the checkout, so the Product structured data carries no offers block at all.
  • The <q>AS SEEN ON</q> media logo bar supplied with this pack. No article, segment, date or link came with it.
  • The discount coupon supplied with this pack, whose code is blurred out in the file itself.
  • The <q>Contains 3X The Power</q> badge as a fact. Three times what is not stated anywhere.
  • Any claim that this product treats, prevents or reverses heart disease, clears an artery, or does anything the bonus-ebook titles suggest.
  • Any verified customer review, or any Review or AggregateRating markup.
  • Any study this site did not open and read.
  • Any PubMed identifier.
  • Any certificate of analysis, or any heavy-metal test result. The pack gives a CoA reference; a reference is not a result.
  • Any delivery estimate. None was supplied.

Corrections

Write to [email protected] with the page and the line. Corrections are made on the page and dated. If the bottle in your hand disagrees with this site, the bottle wins and this site wants to know — particularly if you can photograph the back of it.

What this page was checked against

Every figure on it is transcribed from the supplied Supplement Facts panel and checked-out pack, derived by arithmetic from those, or taken from a source on the references page.
