One Letter That Tells You The Picture Is Drawn

A small thing, easy to miss, and it changes what the three ingredient names on this site are allowed to be called.

Quick answer

The real bottle photograph carries the Simple Promise seal reading WE FOLLOW THE SCIENCE.

The INSIDE CARDIO CLEAR 7 graphic carries the same seal reading WE FOLLOW THE XCIENCE.

A photograph cannot misspell the label it photographs. The bottle in the second image is drawn.

And that image is the only thing in the pack that names any ingredient.

What it proves and what it does not

It proves the image is generated. It does not prove the three ingredient names are wrong. A generated image can carry a perfectly correct list — somebody typed those names into it from somewhere — and this desk has no reason at all to think CoQ10, shilajit and PQQ are invented.

What it changes is what the names can be called. They are not a transcription. They are what a marketing image says, and the difference matters because a reader of a product-information site is entitled to assume that an ingredient list came off a label unless told otherwise.

So this site tells you otherwise, every time

On the ingredients page, on the label page, on the flip cards, in the empty panel frame and in the machine-readable summary, the three names carry the same five words: from a generated graphic.

That is tedious to read and it is the point. The alternative is to say it once in small type at the bottom and let the rest of the site imply something stronger.

Still deciding?

The sentence to hold on to is the written pack’s own. Under Named list it says: Follow the current bottle panel. The bottle panel is the one thing the pack does not contain, and everything else on this page follows from that.

Questions

  • Could the real bottle have the typo?

No. The photograph of the real bottle is in the same pack, and it is spelled correctly.

  • Does this mean the ingredients are fake?

No, and this site does not say so. It means they are not transcribed.

  • What would settle it?

The photograph of the back of the bottle. Everything on this site comes back to that.
